Welcome to Bedtime Stories AI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially the privacy of children who use our application.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when parents or legal guardians use our mobile application to create and read stories with their children.
Bedtime Stories is designed to be used by parents or legal guardians to create and read stories together with children.
The App is not intended to be used independently by children and does not provide independent child accounts. All interactions, content creation, and settings management are administered by an adult user, who is responsible for supervising the child’s use of the App.
To provide the App’s core features, specifically AI Story Generation and Reading Profiles, we may request the following data, which is processed locally or anonymized:
Reader profile: We collect a nickname, for example “Explorer,” and an avatar selection to personalize the experience. We do not require real full names.
Age preference: We request the “Reader’s Age,” as shown in the App settings, solely to adjust the vocabulary complexity and tone of the AI-generated stories.
Story creation data: When using the “Create Magic” feature, the user provides text data, such as “An astronaut rabbit,” character names, or locations.
Notice: Please do not enter sensitive personal data, such as real full names, addresses, or contact details, in the story creation fields, especially when creating content for children.
Usage data: We monitor game progress, such as “Books read,” “Words read,” and unlocked “Achievements,” as shown in the Explorer profile, in order to store your progress locally or on our secure servers.
Device information: We may collect non-personal device identifiers, such as the device model and operating system version, to ensure the proper functioning of the App and to fix bugs.
The processing of this data is carried out to ensure the App’s core functionalities and is based on the consent of the adult user.
Some data is stored locally on your device, such as reading progress and preferences. Other data, such as story creation parameters, is transmitted securely to our servers and to our AI service providers exclusively to generate the story content.
Inactive profiles and associated data may be automatically deleted after a reasonable period of inactivity, unless retention is required for legal or security purposes.
Our App uses third-party Artificial Intelligence services, such as OpenAI, to generate stories based on the data entered by the user.
How it works: When you tap “Create Magic,” the parameters you selected — Theme, Educational Topic, Duration, and Prompt — are sent to the AI provider to generate the text.
Data security: We send only the prompt data. We do not share your device ID or user profile metadata with the AI provider for advertising purposes.
The App offers a subscription service, including “Create your own stories” and “Unlimited access.”
All financial transactions are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We do not store or have access to your credit card information or billing address.
We may use trusted third-party services to help us operate the App:
Analytics services: These are used only to understand general App usage, such as story duration preferences or feature popularity. This data is aggregated, anonymized, and never used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
AI providers: Used to generate story content.
We do not use analytics data for advertising or cross-app tracking purposes.
Story history: You may delete specific stories from your library at any time by using the “Delete” button — trash bin icon — within the App.
Account deletion: If you wish to delete all associated data, including statistics, created stories, and profile, please contact us at info@appgeneration.com or use the deletion option in the App settings, if available.
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal data. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, especially regarding how we process family-use data, we will notify you through the App or on the App’s store page.
